The pattern is WWD53 - Knit Flower Hat by Weezie Wear: http://www.weeziewear.com/hat_patterns Obviously, I chose to leave the flowers off. It is a sweet, simple pattern that's fun to knit.
Carolena - I had a bit of a learning curve with Ravelry. I joined some groups, of which I prefer my local ones because I can actually knit with some of the members, and I hardly need one more online discussion group to take up my time. I do like that I can enter a project, track my progress, make notes on what I did and what I changed, and so on. It's great for finding patterns and saving which ones I want to revisit. I have not entered my yarn stash, though, I much prefer to actually pull it out, play with it and think over it's potential. I'm not hugely into Ravelry but it is a nice tool.

I love the white one. I must learn to knit sometime in my life.

These are so cute!!!...and now we can see what the finished item looks like after only seeing it 'as a work in progress' in Finland!.. :)
I'm going to ask a dumb question. Do you know about Ravelry?
Yes, I think I have a Ravelry account but everytime I got there I don't know what to do there.

Ooh the finished item!
Its great to see a project finished.
However, thanks to Megha and her cute unravelling ball of sari ribbon in in Pori airport I now have a new magpie-ism!
How many have you now made?
Five so far and working on the sixth.
